The Women in the Director's Chair Workshop

Women in Film and Television Vancouver is pleased to offer a bursary each year of up to $500 to current WIFTV members who are selected to attend WIDC as director participants. This bursary is awarded by WIFTV after WIDC adjudications are complete.

Director participant applications are welcome from Canadian women who have:

- a recognized track record directing low budget film, television or video projects (long or short form), drama, documentary, life-style, experimental, or theatre., or
- some directing experience who are crossing over to directing with a recognized set of highly transferable skills (e.g. AD, Actor, Producer, etc.).

  3. Working with other creative individuals, in a
  4. Professional, inspiring and safe learning environment?

WIDC Feature Film Award

The WIDC Feature Film Award is a $120 000 in kind prize designed to encourage more feature films directed by women in British Columbia and is supported by some of Canada's most influential screen-industry companies. administered by Creative Women Workshop Association (CWWA).
