WIFTV Seeks Executive Director

See full posting here. Applications accepted until September 30, 2021.

Departure news, and much gratitude to Interim Managing Director, Grace Chin!

Please join us in thanking Grace Chin for taking the reins of WIFT-Vancouver in this (ever-so challenging) year as Interim Managing Director as she steps on to new projects!

With Grace’s guidance, the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival successfully transitioned online for the first time in 2021 with a bold and diverse array of films by women and gender diverse creators to (also for the first time) audiences around the world. Among other public initiatives, Grace ensured our opportunities for connection were reinvented online through numerous educational and networking activities such as the Producers Panel Series, Coffee Chats, and much more. On the less public side of things, Grace penned myriad organization-sustaining funding applications and carefully stewarded the many day-to-day activities of WIFTV. We are thrilled that Grace will remain an active WIFTV member, and we offer her our biggest thanks for all she’s given to our organization and membership. Now, we must begin the search for our next leader.

From all us at WIFTV, we thank you and celebrate you, Grace!

Peggy and Ana, Co-Presidents, WIFTV
