Emilee Juliette Glyn-Jones

After her mother instilled a delusional amount of self-confidence, Emilee began acting and received her first gig on The Arts Club Granville Island Stage in a production of Circle Mirror Transformation directed by the timeless Nicola Cavendish. Emilee tried her hand at directing a production of “Mirror Games” by Dennis Foon at her high school and realized she loved being behind the curtain just as much as in front. After auditioning as the funny, “fat” friend one too many times, Emilee went from acting into screenwriting and that is when she found herself at Vancouver Film School in 2016. During her time there she collectively wrote stories about an autistic teenager who falls in love, a family of cannibals in an all vegan world, a mortician who brings her boyfriend back to life and a film that is basically Magnolia with dance. She walked away from VFS with more than just tremendous debt and poor sleep patterns. She met her writing partner, Darianne Downey and co-founded their production company, DEM Productions Inc. They have just wrapped production on a short film, Encircled based on the German book, Eingekreist. They are currently working daily on producing their podcast "May I?", a podcast by servers for servers, vlogs, sketches and even the occasional parody rap video for their YouTube Channel DemProdco.
