Monique Hurteau


Monique Hurteau, MBA, is an executive producer, business affairs consultant, producer, director, content-creator and lapsed stand-up comedian. She also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Management Consulting and has multi-industry experience including advising lawyers on land deals ranging from $75M to $3B.

Additionally, she's an alumna of Women in the Director's Chair (WIDC), Top 25 Netflix-Banff Diversity of Voices Pitch Program (2019), was selected for the Banff Spark Accelerator inaugural cohort at the Banff World Media Festival and the Creative Industries Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) with the World Trade Centre in Vancouver.

Monique's experienced on stage and screen too. She's performed stand-up comedy across Canada, appeared on CTV and as a writer for the iconic Canadian comedy series, CBC's The Debaters. She also wrote for the opening events of the Canadian Museum of Human Rights.

Monique also wrote produced + co-directed, the documentary Chasing Lear with her Through and Thru Films Co-Founder Lorne Cardinal (Corner Gas, FBI: Most Wanted, Molly of Denali).
