Sabrina Prada is a triple-threat stage performer and community organizer who brought her many decades of experience in performing and arts leadership to Vancouver in 2007. Full member of UBCP/ACTRA, CAEA and SAG-AFTRA.
Raised in New Jersey and magna cum laude of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Sabrina relocated from Seattle’s Beacon Hill to Kitsilano in 2007 to work in the film and television industry. A Flash Forward alumna, Sabrina served as the WIFTV Board Secretary from 2007-2009, and has since worked on more than 270 film & tv projects. She was mentored by Johannah Newmarch in WIFTV's innovative Actor Mentorship Program. Since 2012, she serves as the UBCP/ACTRA liaison to the Women's Rights Committee of the BC Federation of Labour. She is also the Secretary of the Women's Committee at UBCP/ACTRA, has served twice on the Governance Committee and was named a 2021 International Women's Day honoree by the UBCP/ACTRA Women's Committee and awarded a 2018 Life Member Award by UBCP/ACTRA for her on-going service to the union and causes of social justice.
