Tricksters and Writers participants have the opportunity to delve into story development and screenwriting in an online workshop setting, crafting their stories for the screen while also having the opportunity to network with fellow Indigenous creatives.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, Tricksters and Writers – Northern BC will take place online.
Program Format:
Tricksters and Writers takes place over 7 sessions, offering participants the opportunity to write and workshop their stories, while delving into topics such as, Cultural Authenticity; Speaking Your Truth; Making and Breaking Plot; Writing Great Characters; and The World of the Film. Writers will also have the opportunity to learn about funding opportunities to bring their stories to life on the screen
Master Classes: Tuesday evenings October 27th, November 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th, 2020 (exact time of day will be determined)
BREAK: December 2020
Workshop: January 12th & 19th
