Happy New Year! We're back on Tuesday, January 21st for our latest #WIFTVCOFFEECHATSMeghan Hemingway will be getting into the nitty gritty of useful ways you can own your pitch for television. She will be interviewed by WIFTV board member Arianna McGregor, followed by a Q&A session where you'll have the opportunity to ask her all your questions!

Meghan Hemingway is a Vancouver based actor and writer, whose work has spanned over a decade. Hemingway studied at Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City and went on to work alongside Stephen Adly Guirgis for his production, The Little Flower of East Orange, directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman. Hemingway formed a writing partnership with Stephen Sheffer, and their catalogue boasts six episodic concepts, two pilot scripts and one feature film. The duo is currently in development with Project 10 in LA (Schitt’s Creek) for their episodic series Salmon Elbow and under option with Don Ferguson Productions (Royal Canadian Air Farce) in Toronto for their episodic series, The Joint. Hemingway and Sheffer spent much of 2018 & 2019 pitching their six concepts to over 50 companies (including CBC, Bell, NBC, Netflix, Amazon, Funny or Die and HBO) in Toronto, LA, NY and Vancouver.

Notable New York credits include: originating the role of Babe in Welcome to Paradise at The Actors Studio, directed by Valentina Fratti; playing Desdemona opposite Anna Deavere Smith in Othello; playing both Irina and Masha in back-to-back productions of Chekhov’s Three Sisters, both directed by Eve Best. Recently Hemingway played Celia in As You Like It, in beautiful Penna San Giovanni, Italy, also under the direction of Eve Best. She can currently be seen on tv as the face of bi-polar disorder for the drug Vraylar, the mom in the Mastercard whale watching ad and the COBS bread cinnamon bun campaign.

Note: Coffee will be available for purchase!
