Kendrie Upton — Executive Director, Directors Guild of Canada BC

As a Directors Guild of Canada BC Member Kendrie worked as a Location Manager for 30 years. Credits include features “Watchmen” and “TRON2”, CBC’s “Arctic Air” and A&E’s “Bates Motel”. Kendrie’s also authored and taught many Locations related courses over the years and sat on the Executive Board of the DGC BC from 2003 to 2015. She’s held the position of Executive Director with the DGC BC since early 2016.

In addition to her film work, Kendrie has studied Mediation, Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, Leadership and Coaching. In combination with her film career in 2008, she established Soul Focus Coaching where she coaches predominantly film personnel on a variety of topics including career building, life/work balance and the true value of a good night’s sleep.
