Nicole Chartrand is a Location Manager, currently working on the Emmy Award winning Amazon series The Man In The High Castle.As Location Manager on this demanding production, Nicole must think outside the box as she scouts, researches and hosts critical thinking brainstorming sessions with her team.

Nicole holdsa BFA from UBC, with a Major in Theatrical Design and a Minor in Film Studies. Shehas enjoyed a 13-year career and has worked on over 17 film and television productions.


The location department plays an integral role in the bigger production picture and makes every effort to protect both the location and the cast/crew. Nicole will discussher career progression, as well as how you secure a location, dealing with locations efficiently and keeping good relations, and location etiquette. With the film industry being as busy as it is, it's never been more important to have good relationships with location owners, residents and the film offices.
