We chatted with Vancouver Asian Film Festival's Festival Director Susan Hanson about festival's highlights and programming process.

As a former Business Ed teacher, Susan became a Freelance Korean/English Interpreter in 2004. In 2005, Susan pursued her passion for acting which included stage, commercial, TV & Film. Susan’s stage debut was in 2018 as “Umma” in the award-winning stage performance of “Kim’s Convenience” at Chemainus Theater. As an active member of the entertainment industry, Susan has appeared on TV shows such as “The Man in The High Castle” and “Woke.” She also a recurring role in “A Million Little Things.”
