How to Create Success for Your Film Online: An Applied Digital Marketing Workshop

Digital strategist Annelise Larson will outline a simple three-step process that will help you put together better funding applications and identify, find and engage audiences online to help you reach your goals and take your career to the next level. Participants will be invited to walk through a simple set of exercises to get hands-on experience and advice from someone who has worked on hundreds of features, documentaries, web series, video games and other media storytelling projects. Bio - Annelise Larson, Digital Strategist & Mentor for Media
Annelise comes from a background as an independent documentary film producer, with training at such prestigious institutions as the Canadian Film Centre and Banff Centre for the Arts. Since 1995 she has been working in the field of online marketing. She works extensively with organizations and production companies in the film, television and interactive industries in North America & Europe. Her focus is helping content creators and storytellers use the digital opportunity to define, find, attract and engage their audiences to work toward strategic and sustainable business models. Currently, Annelise is excited to be working on launching a suite of online webinars to teach how to think and work like a storypreneur and to bring the filmmaker crowdfunding and VOD platform Seed&Spark to Canada.
