The Vancouver International Women in Film Festival is pleased to award the top three BC films in the festival with a Matrix Award, presented by Matrix Production Services.
The Matrix Award-winning films were screened at the Closing Night Awards ceremony on March 8th. The Matrix Awards were presented along with the Best of the Festival Awards, the winner of the VIWIFF International Screenplay Competition, and the winners of the 6th From Our Dark Side Genre Contest.
All awards were chosen by an independent jury of industry professionals. This year's jury included Meghan Hemingway - Writer/Actor; Brianna Rayner – Actor; Marena Dix - Producer/Post Production Coordinator.
