We warmly welcome Fernanda Cardoso as our 5th annual Spotlight Director. Fernanda Cardoso, originally from Brazil, has worked as a television editor for the past nine years on shows such as The Real L Word and America's Next Top Model. Bloomington is her directing debut.

A refreshingly true-to-life romantic drama, Bloomington's protagonist Jackie Kirk, a former child actress, moves from California to the Midwest to go to college. As she adjusts to campus life, Jackie finds herself in a secret love affair with Catherine Stark, a charming, strong-minded professor.
