Elyn has spent many years working to support small businesses and social enterprises mainly in the arts, advocacy, and voluntary sectors.  Recently these have included a small construction firm, a dance company, Canadian Parents for French, BCCPAC, and the International Dyslexia Association. Prior to that, she worked in France and Germany, as well as for larger organizations such as the CBC and Expo ’86.  She is passionate about the role that non-profits and arts organizations play in our world, and she was honoured to be nominated for a 2008 YWCA Women of Distinction award in the Community Building category.
